A multi-pack does not need its own ingredient list or nutrition panel. Instead you point it at the single unit inside it, and WISEcode inherits that unit's composition.
What to fill in
- UPC – the multi-pack's own barcode, not the unit's.
- Base Unit UPC – the UPC of the single item inside.
- Package Label – how the pack is described on shelf, for example 6-pack (12 oz).
- Servings Per Container – total servings across the whole pack.
Leave the ingredient list, serving size and nutrition columns blank.

Servings Per Container for the pack is the unit's servings multiplied by the number of units: 6 × 8 = 48.
The base unit must be in the same file
The row you reference in Base Unit UPC has to exist in the file you are uploading. Row order does not matter — the multi-pack can appear before or after its base unit.
