Source: WISEcode Bulk Product Upload Instructions, template v3.2 (11 August 2026).
Not every column applies to every product. The template supports three row types, and knowing which one you are writing tells you which cells to fill and which to leave alone.
1. Regular product
A standard single item with its own Nutrition Facts panel. Fill in identity (UPC, Product Name, Brand), the full ingredient list, serving size information and the complete set of required nutrition values.
2. Multi-pack
A carton, case or club pack made up of a unit that also appears in the file. Fill in UPC, Product Name, Brand, Base Unit UPC, Package Label and Servings Per Container. Leave the ingredient list, serving size and nutrition columns blank — those are inherited from the base unit row.
3. NFP Exception
Set NFP Exception to Y for a product that carries no Nutrition Facts panel. Fill in UPC, Product Name, Brand and Ingredient List only. Leave the serving size and nutrition columns blank.
