Source: WISEcode Bulk Product Upload Instructions, template v3.2 (11 August 2026).
Every regular product row needs a complete set of mandatory nutrition values taken from the Nutrition Facts panel, plus the percent Daily Value figures that the panel declares alongside them.
The 15 required values
- Calories
- Total Fat
- Saturated Fat
- Trans Fat
- Cholesterol
- Sodium
- Total Carbohydrate
- Dietary Fiber
- Total Sugars
- Added Sugars
- Protein
- Vitamin D
- Calcium
- Iron
- Potassium
The 11 %DV columns
Every one of the above carries a %DV column except Calories, Trans Fat and Total Sugars, none of which have an established Daily Value. Protein %DV is optional and only appears on panels that make a protein claim.
Both 7 and 7% are accepted in a %DV cell.
Serving size columns
- Serving Size – the metric number only, with no unit text.
- Serving Size Unit – one of g, mg, oz, floz, ml, l.
- Alternate Serving Size – the household measure, for example 2/3 cup or 1 bottle.
Both are required because FDA labelling declares the household measure followed by the metric equivalent.
Rounding conventions
Copy the panel exactly — it is already rounded. For reference, the panel rules are:
- Calories – nearest 5 up to 50, then nearest 10.
- Total Fat – nearest 0.5 g below 5 g, then nearest 1 g.
- Cholesterol – nearest 5 mg.
- Sodium – 0 if under 5 mg, nearest 5 mg up to 140 mg, then nearest 10 mg.
- Total Carbohydrate – nearest 1 g.
- Vitamin D – enter in mcg, not IU.
