Source: WISEcode Bulk Product Upload Instructions, template v3.2 (11 August 2026).
Beyond the mandatory values, the template includes columns for nutrients that appear on a panel only sometimes. Each of these has an amount column and, where a Daily Value exists, a matching %DV column.
The default is blank
Leave both cells of a voluntary pair empty unless the nutrient is actually declared on your panel. Do not enter 0 to mean "not declared".
When a voluntary nutrient becomes mandatory
Some voluntary nutrients become conditionally required:
- Polyunsaturated fat must be declared if monounsaturated fat is declared, or if the label makes a fatty acid or cholesterol claim — and the reverse is also true.
- Fluoride, soluble fiber, insoluble fiber and sugar alcohol must be declared if the label makes a claim relating to them.
Folate
The column Folate – Added Folic Acid (mcg) is for the parenthetical value that appears on the panel next to total folate, not a separately calculated figure.
If you declare an amount, declare the %DV too
A voluntary nutrient entered with an amount but no %DV will be treated as an incomplete pair and the row will wait in Bulk Review until the second value is supplied.
