Chat accepts uploads, so you can hand it a photo of a label, a spec sheet, or a document instead of typing the contents. This article covers what to upload, when, and what to expect.
What you can upload
- Images — a photo of the front of pack, the ingredient statement, or the Nutrition Facts panel
- PDFs — spec sheets, supplier documents, certificates of analysis
- Text documents
- Saved web pages — a product page from your site, for example
When it helps
- Adding a product. Drop in the label photos and chat reads the name, ingredients and nutrition panel, then shows you what it extracted to confirm.
- Fixing a product. Upload the current panel and tell chat to update the product to match.
- Scoring before launch. Upload a draft spec and ask chat to score it.
- Giving chat context. A retailer’s ingredient standard or an internal brief, so chat can check your products against it.
Tips
- Shoot labels flat and in good light; blurry panels lead to misread numbers.
- Always review what chat extracted before confirming — decimal placement on a nutrition panel matters.
- Name the product by UPC in the same message so chat applies the upload to the right record.
- Useful references can be saved to your Library (the References tab) and reused in later chats.
Privacy
Uploads are private to your organization and used only to answer your request or update your products. Nothing reaches shoppers until you publish a product.
Not working?
Upload support is being rolled out across Beta organizations. If chat does not accept a file, paste the text instead, or submit a request and a member of the WISEcode team will review and get back to you.
