On October 27, 2026, every existing WISEcode Intelligence account moved to WISEcode AI. The move happens automatically the next time you sign in — there is nothing to configure, export, or re-import. This article covers what carried over, what looks different, and how your existing products appear in the new Portfolio.
What carries over
- Your full portfolio, including products you added yourself and products WISEcode discovered for you
- Products you previously rejected — they stay rejected, and WISEcode will not add them back on future discovery runs
- Your NON-UPF verification statuses, certificates, and Shield assets
- Team members and account settings
- Your familiar reports, now as dashboards in your Library (see below)
Because your products were already parsed, the migration is near-instant. WISEcode does not re-run product discovery against existing accounts, so nothing new is added to your portfolio without your action.
What you will notice first
- A short Welcome tour with three starter dashboards (no questionnaire)
- A redesigned Portfolio organized around three questions: Is anything waiting on you? Is it in the WISEcode app? Does it have the NON-UPF shield?
- The Reports module is gone. Your reports now live in Library as dashboards in the Welcome Kit
- Chat is available from every page and knows your portfolio
- Six pathway cards on the WISEcode AI home
How your products map to the new states
The new Portfolio shows two independent states for every product: a publishing state (is it in the WISEcode app?) and a verification state (does it have the NON-UPF shield?). Your existing products land as follows:
| Before (WISEcode Intelligence) | Now (WISEcode AI) |
|---|---|
| NON-UPF Verified | Published in the publishing lens and NON-UPF Verified in the verification lens. Both states show because they are independent. |
| Claimed (not yet verified) | Published. You already met the publish bar, so you do not repeat the step. |
| Claimed, payment pending | Published |
| Discovered but never claimed | Needs work or Ready to publish. These products need ingredient verification before you publish them. They were previously visible to shoppers; in WISEcode AI they are treated as unpublished so that you explicitly opt them in. |
In short: anything you already Claimed or Verified is treated as Published. The only products that need action from you are the ones that were never claimed, plus any new products you add.
Three things to reset your expectations on
- Portfolio is no longer live by default. Products sit in your private workspace until you publish them. See Private workspace vs. Live: what Publish means.
- There is no claim step any more. If a product has a name and an ingredient list, it is in your analysis automatically.
- GS1 prefix is checked at publish. You may see products that are not yet linked to your granted prefix. See Why can’t I publish these products? GS1 prefix at the publish gate.
Where things went
| Looking for… | Find it in… |
|---|---|
| Product UPF report, Portfolio UPF report | Library → Dashboards (Welcome Kit). The Product UPF report is now Product Insights; the Portfolio UPF report keeps its name, Portfolio UPF Report |
| Add Food / Edit Food tools | Chat. Ask it to add or edit a product and it walks you through the whole flow, including ingredient verification and publish. |
| Verify Ingredients step | Inline in chat as you add or edit, or in bulk from the Ingredient check Fix Group |
| Claim | Retired. See above. |
| Catalog CSV upload | The + Add button at the top of Portfolio |
| Brand-vs-brand comparison | The Competitive Analysis pathway card (the My Brand vs. Competitor dashboard), or ask chat to compare brands |
| NON-UPF verification | The Verify your NON-UPF products pathway card, the verification lens in Portfolio, or ask chat to “verify NON-UPF on N products” |
Can I go through the Welcome tour again?
The tour itself is a one-time introduction, but the three dashboards it shows stay in your Library and you can open them any time.
Something did not carry over?
If a product, verification status, or team member appears to be missing, submit a request with your organization name and the UPCs affected. A member of the WISEcode team will review and get back to you.
