WISEcode AI Terminology – WISEcode

A quick reference to the terms you will see across WISEcode AI.

Term	What it means
WISEcode AI	The brand-facing platform, replacing WISEcode Intelligence. Four surfaces: Portfolio, Chat, Library, Marketplace.
Portfolio	Where your product work lives: publishing state, verification state, what is waiting on you, bulk actions.
Product Portfolio	The left-navigation label for Portfolio.
Marketing Assets	The button at the top of Portfolio where Shield files, certificates and templates are downloaded.
Chat	The primary AI surface, available from every page. Ask questions, build dashboards, add and edit products, verify ingredients, publish, run bulk actions.
WISEai	The name chat answers to (“Ask WISEai anything about Food Intelligence”). Same thing as Chat.
Library	Where your organization’s dashboards, chats, references and reports are kept and shared.
MCP	A tab in Library alongside Reports, Dashboards, Chats and References.
Marketplace	Where you discover and import additional dashboards. WISEcode-published free templates during the Beta.
Public dashboard	A Marketplace dashboard you open view-only without importing (the U.S. Food Supply Atlas, for example). Free templates, by contrast, are imported into your Library.
Welcome Kit	The prebuilt starter set of dashboards in your Library, grounded in your own data. Includes Portfolio Insights, Portfolio UPF Report, Product Insights, My Brand vs. Competitor and UPF Framework Comparison.
Welcome tour	The one-time introduction shown at first login, built around three Welcome Kit dashboards.
Pathway cards	The six guided starting points on the WISEcode AI home. Some open a dashboard, some open a chat.
Private workspace	Where everything you do lives first. Nothing goes to shoppers until you publish.
Publish / Live	Publish moves a product from your private workspace to the WISEcode consumer app. Live means shoppers can see it.
Needs work · Ready to publish · Published	The three publishing states. See The Portfolio’s three questions.
Published with pending edits	A live product with unpublished changes waiting in your workspace.
“What’s missing” filters	Chips under the Publishing lens: Nutrition Facts, Ingredient check, Ingredients, UPC, GS1 prefix, Name.
Ready to verify · In verification · NON-UPF Verified · Not eligible · Not ready yet	The five verification states, shown for Published products. Not ready yet means edits are waiting to publish or a review still has to finish.
Fix Groups	Products grouped by next action: confirm ingredient matches, link a GS1 prefix, publish what’s ready, start verification. One click opens a bulk flow.
Steps column	On each Portfolio row, a badge linking to the product’s next action.
GS1 prefix / publish gate	The GS1 company prefix on your UPCs. Checked at registration and again at publish: you can only publish products under a prefix granted to your organization.
GS1 License Review	WISEcode’s internal review of requests to add a prefix to an organization.
Forager	WISEcode’s product discovery, which finds a new organization’s products on the web and matches them to the WISEcode catalog.
WISEparser	WISEcode’s ingredient parser, which reads every ingredient list and feeds the scoring engines.
Rejected product	A product you have said is not yours. It stays rejected on future Forager runs.
Non-UPF Verified Shield	WISEcode’s certification mark for products that meet the Non-UPF standard. See the Non-UPF Verification category.
Wc-UPF score / tiers	The WISEcode Standard’s processing score and its five tiers (Minimal, Light, Moderate, Ultra, Super-Ultra). See Glossary of Terms: The WISEcode Standard.
WISEscore / Composite Intelligence Score	The 0–100 score on the Portfolio Insights dashboard, built from 15 metrics across Nutrient Quality, Ingredient Quality and Health Outcomes. Distinct from the Wc-UPF processing score.
