Product Images in Bulk Upload: Why the Image URL Column Matters

The Image URL column is optional, so a row without it will still import. It is worth filling in anyway, because three things depend on it.

What happens without an image

• The product cannot reach Complete status.
• It is not eligible for Non-UPF Shield verification.
• It shows a placeholder image in the consumer app.

Adding images later

You can supply images after the fact by re-uploading the file with the Image URL column populated. Rows match on UPC, so existing products are updated in place.
